Zero-Tolerance Policy Toward Plagiarism All manuscripts are screened for originality before peer review. The Editorial Board reserves the right to use plagiarism-detection software to identify copied or improperly cited material.

Similarity Index Threshold

Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 10% may be rejected or returned for revision at the discretion of the Editorial Board.

ℹī¸ Exclusions apply: references, properly quoted material, and commonly used phrases are not counted toward the similarity index.

Forms of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

01 Copying text, ideas, figures, tables, or data from another source without proper acknowledgement.
02 Presenting another person's work or ideas as one's own.
03 Submitting a manuscript that has been published previously without proper disclosure.
04 Excessive self-plagiarism or duplicate publication without appropriate citation or editorial approval.
05 Improper paraphrasing or inadequate citation of published sources.

Consequences

If detected before publication

  • Immediate rejection of the manuscript
  • Return to authors for revision (minor citation errors)
  • Notification of findings to authors

If detected after publication

  • Publishing a formal correction
  • Issuing a retraction notice
  • Removal of article from journal website
  • Notifying authors' affiliated institutions
